Scientists claim to have solved the secret of Mona Lisa's smile. It has to do with what part of your eye sees it first. Or something. Anyway, the story's up at The Telegraph, where the crack squad at the Arts & Ocular Sciences desk determined that the closer you are to the famous portrait, the more likely you are to see her smile.
Sadly, though, getting close to the painting isn't particularly easy...
