I've been looking for an excuse to link to this for ages... and today I decided I don't need any excuses at all. It's Annie Leibovitz's Hollywood Portfolio for Vanity Fair, and it's a collection of her portraits of Oscar-nominated actor-director teams.
Editorially, some of the combos don't work (many of the 'famous duos' listed have only made one movie together) while others do (Clint Eastwood + Clint Eastwood)... but Annie Leibovitz could take a picture of a dustbin and it'd look like high art to my eyes.
