I'm two-thirds of the way through reading (reading?) the audiobook of Bill Bryson's A Walk In The Woods, where he writes about his epic hike on the epic Appalachian Trail. It's getting me all itchy-footed and wanderlusty... despite the scary (but funny) bits in Chapter Two about the savage bears of the trail.
Ursus horribilis. The Latin name of the Grizzly Bear pretty much sums it up.
That bit also got me to thinking, though, about the superb Werner Herzog documentary Grizzly Man, which I watched just a couple of weekends ago. Thinking about them grizzlies, my get-up-and-go just got up and went.
